I am really glad to have contributed to the latest issue of Pig Quarterly, the new project originating from the experience of Pig Mag and based both in Milan and New York. It’s called GIRLS: a volume conceived in order to shine a light on relevant female personalities that excel in what they do, covering several fields: art, new technologies, human rights, design, photography, cinema, music, publishing and fashion.
I have interviewed two talented photographers like Jessica Eaton and Rosa Rendl, plus Marloes Krijnen, the founding director of FOAM Museum. It’s a pithy collection issue with pictures by some of my favourite photographers, such as Bobby Doherty, Jody Rogac, Todd Jordan, Matthew Tammaro, Maciek Pozoga, Linn Heidi Stokkedal, Ugnė Straigytė, Tim Barber, Ye Rin Mok, Charlie Engman, Alexi Hobbs. I want to thank as well my friend and collaborator Cecilia for the support in the work of researching and keeping contacts.
You can find Pig Quarterly online at store.pigshop.com and in selected retailers worldwide such as Mondadori/Duomo and Armani Libri in Milano, Serpentine Gallery and Artwords in London, Agora Press and Artazar in Paris, Soto and Do you read me in Berlin, World Mag Seoul and Aoyama Bookcenter Tokyo among others.
